Axcalibur Axe Throwing was founded by Aleks Georgjiev, the former owner of The Edge Gymnasium, inspired by the success of The Edge, another one of a kind venue was envisioned, this time introducing the art of axe throwing to Caerphilly for the very first time.

Situated just a stone’s throw from the iconic Caerphilly Castle, Axcalibur was designed to provide an immersive, medieval themed experience that pays homage to the town’s rich history.  This vision was sparked not only by the growing popularity of axe throwing but our own experiences and visits to the existing venues in South Wales.  Combining that inspiration with the castle’s medieval allure, a venue has been created like no other.

From the moment you step into The Great Hall, you’ll be transported back in time.  With the sounds of medieval music and a setting steeped in history, you’ll experience the thrill of axe throwing in a way that feels authentic and engaging.  While dressing in medieval attire is encouraged to add to the fun, its not required-just come as you are and enjoy the experience.

Safety of course is at the heart of what we do.  Our venue has been carefully designed to ensure a secure and enjoyable environment.  Every member of our team has undergone training to provide expert guidance, ensuring you feel confident and supported as you learn.
